Paolo Giordani is Professor of Economics at the School of Management and Economics (SME) of the University of Turin (Italy). Before joining SME, Paolo held academic positions (as assistant and then as associate professor) at the Department of Economics and Finance of LUISS University in Rome. Paolo holds a degree in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of Bologna and a Ph.D. in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome. He has also been Marie Curie Fellow at Maastricht University, Jean Monnet Fellow and Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. Paolo’s fields of expertise cover international economics, political economy, technological progress and economic growth.
