Annual Meeting of the Advistory Board of Foreign Investors
At a time marked by profound economic and geopolitical transformations, the Annual Meeting of Confindustria’s Foreign Investors Advisory Board serves as the primary forum for dialogue among foreign-controlled companies, institutions, and economic stakeholders.
The 2025 edition will focus on a strategic dialogue about how to make our country more competitive, attractive, and integrated into global networks. During the event, the Foreign Companies Observatory will present its 7th Report, titled “Global Competitiveness, Local Innovation: The role of foreign companies for Italy in the new international landscape.”
The Report provides an in-depth analysis of the contribution of foreign companies to the Italian economy, highlighting strengths in exports, skilled employment, digitalization, and innovation. It also identifies critical areas where action is needed to improve the operating environment.
The program will feature a series of themed panel discussions with institutional representatives and top executives. They will address the role of foreign companies in an evolving Italy, the challenges of retaining and attracting investment, the convergence of international capital with Italian-made excellence, and the innovative transformation driven by foreign companies. It will be a morning of high-level discussion, designed to share visions, proposals, and tools that can strengthen the Italian production system and support more sustainable and balanced growth.
