The collaboration between Luiss and Confindustria's Foreign Investors Advisory Board is intensifying to strengthen the activities of the Foreign Companies Observatory, a national reference point for analyzing and collecting data on foreign-controlled companies operating in Italy.

The agreement, signed by Rita Carisano, Luiss’s General Director, and Barbara Cimmino, Confindustria’s Vice President for Export and Investment Attraction, will allow the Observatory to expand its activities, strengthening its role in applied research and policy-making on foreign investment.
The new initiatives will focus on production chains, training, and regulatory simplification, thereby enhancing the strategic contribution of foreign-owned companies to the Italian economy.

The next event, the third Annual Meeting of Confindustria ’s Foreign Investors Advisory Board (ABIE), will be hosted at Luiss on May 7, 2025. This is an opportunity to explore in greater depth the impact of foreign companies on growth, innovation, exports, sustainability, and worker well-being.
