The call for applications for the 2025 “Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship” pre-selection process is now open
Luiss, in partnership with the Zegna Foundation, is now accepting applications for the pre-selection of candidates for the “Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship,” a program that provides scholarships and research grants abroad to promising young individuals.
Supported by the Zegna Foundation, the initiative is aimed at Luiss undergraduates, recent graduates, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a concrete project to contribute to Italy’s future following their experience abroad.
Eligibility and application process
To participate in the pre-selection, candidates must:
- be Italian citizens or foreign nationals who grew up in Italy and still reside there.
- Meet the academic requirements outlined in the call for applications (minimum grade, recently obtained degrees, maximum age).
- Have completed, or be in the process of completing, at least a bachelor's degree (by July 2025).
- Have been admitted to a study or research program at a top-tier international institution.
In all cases, when awarding scholarships, the Selection Committee pays particular attention to applications from young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, whether academically or economically.
