Ermenegildo Zegna Founder's Scholarship 2026 Call for Applications
Luiss, in partnership with the Zegna Foundation, is opening an internal pre-selection process for the 2026 “Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship” initiative. The initiative offers scholarships for postgraduate research or specialization programs abroad, lasting one to three years.
The call is open to students completing Master's or Single-Cycle Master's programs with a minimum exam average of 28/30, graduates with a final degree grade of at least 110/110, as well as doctoral candidates and PhD holders. To participate in the pre-selection process, candidates must have secured admission to a study or research program abroad at a university or institution of recognized international standing by the interview date.
To participate in the pre-selection process, you must send a single PDF file containing the required documentation to prorettorericerca@luiss.it by March 5, 2026. Pre-selected candidates will be invited for an interview during the week of March 15–20, 2026. Luiss will then recommend a maximum of two regular candidates and two on the waiting list to the Zegna Foundation. The final selection results from the Zegna Foundation will be announced by summer 2026.
When selecting candidates, the Selection Committee pays particular attention to applications from young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, whether academically or economically. Furthermore, it prioritizes outstanding young individuals who demonstrate a genuine interest in returning to Italy within five years of completing their experience abroad. This aims to counteract the brain drain and enhance human capital in our country.
