To mark World Health Day, our campuses will host a variety of events focused on health and wellness.

On Monday, April 8, at Viale Romania, and on Wednesday, April 10, at Via Parenzo, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the following organizations will be present:

• AVIS (Italian Association of Blood Volunteers)
• ADMO (Bone Marrow Donor Association)
• Komen Italia will be on hand on April 8th only at Viale Romania to take registrations and provide registered participants with kits for the Race for the Cure on Sunday, May 12th.

Here's all the information you need:

AVIS: You can donate blood by making an appointment with the AVIS Secretariat by calling 06.44230134. The number is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Before donating, you must read the Guidelines. For more information, please contact the Medical Director, Dr. Pascal Vignally (responsabile.udr@avisroma.it – 3463212995).

ADMO: At the ADMO desk, you can get information on how to register as a potential stem cell and bone marrow donor, and you can schedule an interview with ADMO’s specialized staff by filling out the form below (be sure to select the Luiss event you want to register for). It's important to have no food residue when undergoing typing. For more information, visit the ADMO website.

Komen Italia: Once again this year, you can sign up for the “Luiss University” team to take part in the Race for the Cure on Sunday, May 12! Joining the Luiss team is easy: fill out the registration form, and you can pick up your kit directly on Monday, April 8, at the Viale Romania campus!
