Luca Pisano is a young Luiss alumnus who began his studies with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management. He then pursued further education by enrolling in the Master's Degree in Digital Management within the Department of Business and Management. “I chose Luiss because I knew it would provide me with a focused and specialized education.”

Today, Luca works in consulting, primarily focusing on process automation. He recently created iltuoturno.it, a service that tracks supermarket lines across Italy. It addresses a “real need”: helping fellow citizens during the COVID-19 emergency by sharing relevant information about grocery store lines. “I leveraged my prior technical expertise to develop it. My site pulls information from various providers and aggregates it to deliver a more accurate and reliable final result,” he explains.

The Luiss graduate fondly recalls his university years and enjoys remembering his meeting with students at the Loft Luiss, where he spoke to them about startups and innovative business ideas. “Sharing my experience gave me the chance to see firsthand their passion and genuine interest,” he says. However, one of the professors who has most influenced his professional path is Luiss Professor Paolo Spagnoletti: “He helped us approach our studies with a mindset already geared toward work.”

He advises young people who want to pursue a similar path to “specialize in a technological field, such as machine learning. Pick a trend and focus on that.” In the future, Luca would like to solidify his professional growth in consulting and launch a startup.
