Luiss has made it into the global Top 20 in the prestigious annual “Financial Times Masters in Finance – Pre-experience” ranking. The Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from the Guido Carli University has climbed seven positions since its debut in the 2024 ranking, securing 20th place among 70 international universities, with only two other Italian institutions in the top 20.

Each year, the influential British financial newspaper evaluates the top finance education programs based on rigorous criteria that include job placement, salary growth, and graduate satisfaction over time.

Among the key factors that have propelled Luiss forward in the global rankings are: a rise in the employment rate three months after graduation from 92% to 94%; a 10th-place ranking for international courses and exchanges; improved career progression for graduates, which has moved Luiss from 16th to 12th place; and the Career Service, which now ranks 18th globally, showing a double-digit increase thanks to its strong integration with the business community. Finally, there is an increase in gender balance within the faculty and the student body.

“We are heading in the right direction: this ranking confirms our university’s growing ability to compete with leading European and global universities,” says Rector Paolo Boccardelli. He continues, “The Financial Times ranking reflects the strength of the Luiss model, which is built on an excellent and increasingly cosmopolitan faculty, a student experience with a broad international scope, and a structured and ongoing relationship with the world of work. This allows for the continuous updating of degree programs and a high level of placement. Today’s achievements provide a further impetus to tackle new challenges, from artificial intelligence to the complexities of the geopolitical landscape, and to inspire the leaders of tomorrow.”

This recognition rewards Luiss University and the Luiss Business School, with its extensive international certification, for the appeal of their educational programs, which prepare managers and professionals for high-profile careers worldwide.
