Luiss continues to rise in the Financial Times' international rankings. Today, the University welcomes its first-year students
Today, Luiss welcomes its first-year students for the new academic year with its best-ever result in the Financial Times ranking, which was just published. The university named after Guido Carli continues its ascent, climbing over twenty positions compared to 2022 and securing 30th place globally for its Master’s Degree in Management (it was 53rd in 2022 and 90th in 2019).
In 2023, the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali actually improved across all indicators measured by this prestigious international ranking, also standing out in the new criteria, such as the role of the Alumni network, sustainability, and initiatives to preserve the environment and limit the effects of climate change.
“Our climb in the Financial Times ranking with the Master’s Degree in <<Management>> solidifies our university’s global reach and showcases the commitment of the entire Luiss community—professors, staff, alumni, and partners—to promoting the university’s values: internationalization, innovation, and interdisciplinary academic programs. This ranking also reflects our enhanced career guidance and support for students, as well as our strong focus on sustainability. Proud of our achievements, we welcome first-year students again this year with the goal of shaping a new class of cosmopolitan leaders capable of driving change,” said Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe.
Further underscoring this excellent achievement is the employment rate of its graduates, which reaches 96% within one year of graduation, rising to 97.1% and 98.2% after three and five years, respectively.
The strong connection to the world of work is a crucial element of the path offered by Luiss, which begins on the very first day of university. In fact, even during the traditional Welcome Ceremony for first-year students, new students had the opportunity to hear not only from Rector Andrea Prencipe and General Director Giovanni Lo Storto, but also from two successful top managers: Maximo Ibarra, CEO of Engineering, and Alessandra Ricci, CEO of SACE and a Luiss alumna.
