Luiss: once again this year, it ranks first among the top non-state universities in the Censis ranking

Luiss Censis 2025

Once again this year, Luiss Guido Carli stands as the top large non-state university, with over 10,000 students enrolled. This is according to the Censis ranking, which is provided by Italy's leading socio-economic research institute. Each year, Censis produces a detailed analysis of the university system in our country.

The Free International University of Social Studies leads its category with an average total score of 94.2 points, thanks to its strong performance in the various areas assessed: available facilities, services provided, scholarships, level of internationalization, communication, and digital services.

Notably, Luiss is the only non-state university to achieve the maximum score in the scholarship category, underscoring its ongoing commitment to supporting young, deserving talent. The university named after Guido Carli was also recognized for its drive toward internationalization, bolstered by partnerships with over 360 universities in 75 countries and 68 international mobility programs.

The President of Luiss, Giorgio Fossa, stated: “Maintaining first place in the Censis ranking demonstrates the quality and consistency of our university's strategic vision, which continues to serve as a benchmark in the national university landscape. These results are driven by the outstanding teamwork of the faculty and staff at the University, who are dedicated to providing students with top-notch services and facilities, as well as an educational model that aligns with technological advancements, labor market needs, and the demands of the business and institutional sectors.”
