Luiss: its rise in international rankings continues. It ranks among the top 50 universities worldwide for Political Science and is in the top 5 in Italy for Social Sciences and Management.

Luiss continues to grow, now ranking among the top 50 universities worldwide for political and international studies. This is evident from the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021, where, once again this year, the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli continues its development, climbing 90 positions globally in Social Sciences (and ranking among the top 5 in Italy) and entering the top 50 in Politics & International Studies.

There's also widespread growth in all other areas: Business & Management climbs about 50 places to 105th, while Accounting & Finance makes a significant leap from the 201–250 range to the 101–150 range. There were also positive results in Economics (moving from the 251–300 range to 201–250) and in Law (advancing from the 151–200 range to 101–150).

“Being among the world’s top 50 universities recognizes the significant efforts made over the years to strengthen our university’s reputation. Our investments in innovation and in making our faculty more international have enabled us to achieve these results, and they are a source of great pride. “Improving the quality of teaching and enhancing research activity are the guiding principles of our educational model, with Luiss professors among the top social scientists worldwide,” stated University Rector Andrea Prencipe.

For over six years, one of the factors that has consistently propelled Luiss up the QS rankings is its employer reputation. This is based on the university's ability to train young talent with profiles that align with the evolving needs of the job market. Despite the pandemic, the University has managed to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand through a combination of skills, profiles, and innovative projects designed to educate its students.
