Nearly 300 participants on the Luiss team at the Race for the Cure

A great team for a great cause. Nearly 300 participants joined the Luiss team for the 26th edition of the Race for the Cure, the world's largest event dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, which took place in Rome on Sunday, May 11.

Women, but not just them. In fact, a large number of Luiss students, staff, and faculty—along with the support of friends and family—turned the capital pink by joining the major race organized by Susan G. Komen Italia. The event was held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and with the support of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

A shared commitment to prevention

Among the more than 150,000 participants in the event, the Luiss team stood out, taking home recognition as one of the event’s largest teams in the education sector.

Luiss has consistently renewed its commitment to breast cancer prevention, and thanks to the event, it has shown its full support for the 56,000 women who continue their battle each year in Italy.
