The Start Cup Lazio (SCL) Final has concluded for the 10th edition as well.  “Creating impact from research with deep-tech startups” is the theme of the most important regional Business Plan Competition, which recognizes the best innovative startup projects from universities and research institutions in Lazio.  

The competition aims to support innovative startups, nurture young talent, and position Italy at the forefront of entrepreneurial culture. Promoted by a collaborative network that includes Luiss, the competition has demonstrated how the synergy between research, education, and institutions positively impacts the growth and well-being of the region.

With 56 innovative business ideas and 11 top innovative startup projects selected, the Luiss Asimov AI project was among the 24 finalists of the Start Cup Lazio 2024 and won the “Peekaboo” award. Presented by Luigi Casciaro (Peekaboo), the award includes access to the proprietary platform and a fundraising mentorship session.

Under the scientific supervision of the Center for Parliamentary Studies (CESP) at Luiss, Asimov AI’s business idea offers automated legislative monitoring and research services to institutions and companies, leveraging artificial intelligence.
