USA2020: “The Days After,” the Luiss special dedicated to the US elections

Luiss is organizing The Days After, a series of three digital events to comment on and analyze the results of the US elections and reflect on the economic and geopolitical scenarios following the vote, featuring analysts, Luiss experts, and journalists from leading news outlets.

The first webinar, “The Portrait of the New America through the Ballot Box,” will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at 9:30 a.m. The event’s guests include Luiss Professors Roberto D’Alimonte, Emiliana De Blasio , and Sebastiano Maffettone, as well as the Director of the Luiss School of Journalism, Gianni Riotta, and Corriere della Sera journalist Maurizio Caprara.

TG1 journalist Mario De Pizzo will moderate.

The second digital event, “The United States and Europe: Friends as Before?”, will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at 2:30 PM. The guests for the debate include Luiss Rector's Delegate for Internationalization Raffaele Marchetti, Luiss Researcher Maria Giulia Amadio Vicerè, the Director of the Luiss School of Government Giovanni Orsina , and the Director of the Luiss School of Law Enzo Moavero Milanesi. 

Luigi Casillo, a journalist from Sky TG24, will moderate.

On Thursday, November 5 at 9:30 a.m., the final event, “The United States and Asia: Between 'Pivot' and Competition,” will feature Alberto Flores D'Arcais, Co-Director of the Luiss Master's in Communication and Multimedia Journalism, along with Luiss Professors Silvia Menegazzi and Igor Pellicciari.

Renato Coen, SkyTG24's Chief Foreign Editor, will moderate .

The events will be broadcast live on  the University's Facebook and YouTube social media channels.
