When ILEO meets EPIP
ILEO is proud to be celebrating its official kick-off meeting!
On September 23, the post-EPIP Pisa conference debrief took place. The meeting reviewed the European Policy for Intellectual Property (EPIP) Congress in Pisa (September 11–13, 2024), where some ILEO members presented their latest research on intellectual property and ethical innovation.
The first part of the event was reserved for ILEO members to discuss the Observatory's agenda.
The second part, featuring presentations by ILEO Director Christophe Geiger, Vincenzo Iaia, Bernd Justin Jütte, and Francesca Di Lazzaro, addressed fundamental questions related to copyright law and its governance, particularly concerning digital technologies. These issues were examined and discussed from an ethical and sustainability perspective, setting the stage for upcoming activities.
We thank the audience for actively engaging with the presentations and for their valuable input during the discussion. Finally, ILEO welcomed its first Associate Member, Bernd Justin Jütte, who will work closely on the Observatory's activities.
