The World's Top 2% Scientists ranking confirms that Luiss faculty are among the world's most influential researchers
The latest edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking has been published, and, once again this year, Luiss researchers are recognized as leading experts in their fields.
The Top 2% Most Influential Scientists 2024 is an international ranking compiled by Stanford University in California, in collaboration with Elsevier, using bibliometric data extracted from Scopus, one of the world’s most extensive and up-to-date citation databases.
Ranked across 22 scientific fields and 174 subcategories, several Luiss faculty members demonstrate excellent results among approximately 9 million researchers within the bibliometric area. In the category that considers researchers' scientific achievements from the start of their careers through the end of 2023, we find Chesbrough, Kallinikos, Thatcher, and McCarthy. In the category based on scientific achievements in 2023 alone, we see Chesbrough, Kallinikos, McCarthy, Zattoni, Romani, Viñuales, Forlenza, and Berti Suman.
The confirmation of the Luiss faculty’s position of excellence is a significant recognition, underscoring the university’s ongoing commitment to fostering international research that generates a meaningful social impact and contributes to the advancement of knowledge across multiple fields.
