Luiss hosts the launch of the “Team Up for the Planet” project

Today, at the Viale Romania Campus, “Luiss Sport – Team Up for the Planet” kicked off. This project is promoted by AS Luiss in collaboration with its partners and the Sylva Foundation, and is sponsored by the City of Rome and CUFAA – the Carabinieri Corps’ Forestry, Environmental, and Agri-Food Units Command.

The initiative brings together sports, businesses, and institutions in a tangible sustainability effort: raising funds to plant new trees in Rome. The event featured Luiss student-athletes, the creators of the “AS Luiss & Partners: Play for Change” initiative, which engages partner companies in shared social responsibility projects.

There was also room for art and culture, with talks by actress Anna Foglietta, painter Natino Chirico, and violinist Simona Bruno, moderated by popularizer Roberto Giacobbo. An opportunity to reflect on a greener future, where sports and sustainability thrive together.
