Double Degree in Global Management and Chinese Politics with Renmin University of China
Highlights
The Double Degree in Global Management and Chinese Politics between Luiss and Renmin University of China is a challenging two-year program taught entirely in English.
The program is aimed at students currently enrolled in the first year of the Luiss Master's program in Global Management and Politics.
Building on the interdisciplinary approach of the Master’s Degree in Global Management and Politics, this Double Degree program with Renmin University of China will add a comprehensive introduction to the politics, economy, foreign policy, society, and culture of contemporary China. Participants in the program study governance and foreign relations at one of Asia’s leading universities while living in China’s capital city.
During the first year at Luiss, the curriculum will focus on exploring the economic, legal, and business foundations of global management. During the second year in Beijing, students have the chance to visit and learn from Chinese companies, think tanks, research institutes, and NGOs as part of the program’s curriculum.
The program is structured as follows:
- the first year is spent at Luiss (Rome);
- The second year is spent at Renmin University of China (Beijing).

Who can apply
Students enrolled in the first year of the Luiss Master’s program in Global Management and Politics.
Students with Chinese nationality are required to apply for the Double Degree through Renmin University of China, in accordance with the national regulations of the People's Republic of China.
The call for applications will provide details regarding participation prerequisites, the application process, the selection process, deadlines, and additional information. Requirements (updated for the 2026–2027 mobility year)
Candidates for this program should meet the following requirements:
- A weighted average grade of 26/30 or higher;
- Students are required to pass all exams taught during the 1st semester and are strongly encouraged to pass all exams taught during the 2nd semester.
- As for English, students must possess one of the following certifications:
- IELTS 6.5 or higher (Academic version only);
- TOEFL iBT 98 or higher;
- A bachelor's degree taught entirely in English.
Selection Criteria
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on their academic performance and the criteria listed in the table below. Academic performance is assessed based on the data available to the Student Affairs by the deadline indicated in the Call for Applications (usually mid-February).
