Fees and contributions | Luiss students will pay their tuition fees exclusively to Luiss and will therefore be exempt from paying tuition fees at SKEMA Business School. |
Qualifications awarded | Upon completing the Programme, students will earn a Master's Degree in Management from Luiss and a Master of Science in Luxury and Fashion Management – DESMI (Diplôme d'Études Spécialisées en Management International) from SKEMA Business School. To obtain the Double Degree, participants must comply with the regulations and requirements set by both universities. |

Academic rules
- Interested students must read and understand the study plan and its rules. As a rule, changes to the study plan are not permitted.
- The exams listed in the study plan must be taken and passed before the start of the mobility year.
- During the mobility period, students will be subject to the regulations of SKEMA Business School.
- The Programme includes a mandatory work experience placement of at least 4 months (an internship or paid employment) during the second year of the mobility period. This experience is a necessary requirement to obtain the qualification awarded by SKEMA Business School.
- The work experience must be in the luxury and/or fashion sector and will form the basis for developing the thesis project.
- SKEMA Business School will provide support in finding the opportunity, but it will be the student's responsibility to secure the internship or job position. The companies handle the selection procedures independently, and neither Luiss nor SKEMA is responsible for the outcome of the selection process.
Information about the thesis
The two universities will provide detailed information on procedures and related deadlines throughout the Programme. For your reference:
- The thesis will be developed during the mobility period at SKEMA Business School, under the supervision of two supervisors: one from Luiss and one from SKEMA. The thesis project must be approved by both supervisors and meet the academic standards of both universities.
- Students must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines set by both institutions when working on their thesis.
Obtaining the degree from Luiss
- Students will defend their theses in person at Luiss.
- The first available graduation session will be in the autumn (October/November), to allow time for SKEMA to complete the credit recognition process with Luiss.
- Alternatively, students can graduate in the Luiss special session (March/April).
Obtaining the degree from SKEMA Business School
- The thesis must be completed individually, not in pairs, as required for students who are formally enrolled at SKEMA.
- The thesis must be submitted at the beginning of September.
- The thesis defence will take place between mid-September and mid-October, and may be conducted remotely.
Additional information
- Students selected for a Double Degree programme are required to follow the study plan for the year of mobility, including any changes, particularly those concerning language courses and other academic activities.
- While committing to providing complete, accurate, and timely information, Luiss reserves the right to modify, update, or revoke the Programme at any time.
- Luiss is not responsible for any cancellations or changes to the Programme due to circumstances beyond its control. Should this occur, all affected students will be promptly informed.

Selection criteria
Candidates who meet the admission requirements will be ranked based on their academic record and the criteria outlined in the table below. Academic career assessments will be based on data available from the Student Administration Office by the deadline specified in the selection notice (generally mid-February).
