Programme features | The Double Degree in Policies and Governance in Europe (PAGE), offered in partnership with King's College London, is a two-year programme that covers the key political and economic developments in Europe. It provides an in-depth understanding of the policies and political economy of both the European Union and European states from an interdisciplinary perspective, encompassing political science, law, public affairs, and economics. The Programme offers a combination of analytical skills, knowledge of key areas, and specific expertise in managing the interaction between institutions, businesses, and markets. Students will gain practical experience through internships at institutions such as ministries, regional authorities, European and international organisations, regulatory bodies, and national and international NGOs. Students will enhance their employment prospects in both the public and private sectors thanks to the skills they develop during the programme and to Luiss and King's connections with potential employers. The programme is taught by world-class experts from two of Europe's top 25 universities in the field of Politics and International Studies. It is delivered entirely in English, in London and Rome, at two highly international universities, with courses led by lecturers who have extensive research and teaching experience worldwide. This programme offers a unique opportunity for students keen to understand how governments, public organisations, regulatory bodies, businesses, and interest groups develop policies at the national, subnational, and European levels. |

Key Academic Regulations
The curriculum is designed for students who will begin the Double Degree Programme in the 2026/2027 academic year. Students who are interested are required to read and understand the curriculum and the rules that apply to it. These provisions are to be considered binding for the successful completion of the double degree programme.
The list of courses may change if the academic programmes offered by King's College London or Luiss are modified. The exams listed must be taken and passed in the academic year shown in the schedule (not at a later date). Any changes must be formally approved by the Academic Committee.
Students will be subject to the regulations of the university they are attending in each academic year. Selected students will be able to progress to the 2nd year if they have successfully completed at least 45 ECTS credits (at Luiss) or 90 credits (at King's) during the 1st year. Students will not be allowed to change their enrolment status to part-time. While studying at King’s College, students will have only one opportunity to resit an exam.
Information about the thesis
- Students will complete their dissertation during the 2nd year (2027/2028) with a leading supervisor from the university they are currently attending and a secondary supervisor from the other university.
- Students must comply with the dissertation procedures and deadlines set by both institutions. Each university will assess the final dissertation in accordance with its own assessment criteria.
- Students are reminded that they must follow Luiss's standard procedure for thesis allocation, registration for the final degree examination, and submission of the dissertation. For more information, please refer to the Thesis assignment and graduation exam - Luiss page.
- Students are required to complete all academic activities (including all 1st-year courses to be taken at Luiss) before defending their thesis.
- Students will be required to submit their theses to both universities by August 2028 and will graduate in November from both King’s and Luiss.
- Students will be required to defend their theses orally, in person, at Luiss in autumn 2028 or spring 2029.
Additional information
- Students selected for a Double Degree Programme are required to follow the prescribed study plan for their year of mobility, including any changes, with particular attention to language courses and other academic activities.
- While making every effort to provide students with complete, accurate, and timely information, Luiss reserves the right to make changes or additions to the Programme, or to revoke it.
- Luiss is not responsible for any cancellations or changes resulting from events beyond its control. Should the Programme be cancelled or modified for these reasons, Luiss will promptly inform all affected students.
How to apply
Students can apply from November 2026. Students who hold a Bachelor's degree from Luiss or another Italian university are strongly advised to apply by 1 March 2027.

Admission Criteria (mobility year 2026/27)
Applicants for this programme must meet the following criteria:

| Be enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, a Bachelor's degree programme in the Social Sciences. |
| Completion of a Bachelor's degree by July/August 2027, with a final grade of 105/110 or higher (or the equivalent for those obtaining their degree abroad). Please note: For candidates in their final year of a Bachelor's degree, the provisional weighted average must be 27.5/30 or higher. |

Selected students will receive an offer of admission and may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to King's College. This deposit will then be deducted from the tuition fee payable to King's.
International students (those not from the UK) may incur costs for a student visa and a health insurance contribution as part of their visa application.
