Areas for students and graduates

The 22nd edition of the Career Day “I Giovani e il Lavoro” features several thematic areas that are increasingly innovative and digital.
For example, with #E-Recruitment, students will be able to upload their CVs digitally (registered with a unique QR code) to a dedicated database. Companies can then access this database to view and save the CVs. Students will be able to prepare for meetings, record video CVs, get advice and information on managing social networking platforms, and engage with HR managers, successful LUISS alumni, and startuppers.

The Language Café will feature stations for Chatbot and Gamification (Knack). With the Chatbot, you’ll have the opportunity to have a real interview with a bot—an artificial intelligence that uses an algorithm to recognize your interactions and share them with interested employers. By playing Knack, on the other hand, you can test your logic skills by providing feedback to the recruiters who will pre-select the target candidates.

#Bluezone

In this space (set up in front of Radio LUISS), graduates can join the LUISS Alumni Association for free, explore opportunities within the LUISS Alumni network, and learn about the benefits and upcoming events organized by ALL. After receiving their cap and gown, all recent graduates are invited to pick up their ALL gift at the BlueZone as a keepsake from the Master’s Graduation Ceremony.

#One-on-one interviews Meet your future

During Career Day, over 50 companies will offer LUISS graduates and students the chance to have private, one-on-one interviews. To apply, you can log in to the LUISS Career Center platform and view the job postings with the subject line: Career Day 2018 interviews.

#Social Recruiting

In an innovative space on the faculty boulevard, HR professionals will conduct in-depth sessions with pre-registered groups of students and recent graduates. They will offer advice on how to strategically increase visibility on social networks—including career-focused platforms like LinkedIn, as well as Facebook and many others—by enhancing your personal brand, refining your CV, posting professional photos, and sharing your skills and values.

#Turbo session

Within the faculty, around 20 company presentations will take place in classrooms 205A/B, aimed at a select group of students. Here, recruiters will answer students' questions and collect their resumes.

Activities:

  • in-depth company presentation sessions,
  • group interviews,
  • mock interviews,
  • speed interviews

#Pitch like a pro

In the LUISS garden, opposite Villa Heritz, there will be a dedicated area for startups, where ideas, missions, and visions will be presented to an audience primarily made up of undergraduate students. Students can relax on the sofas and cushions and watch videos on the screens, surrounded by the green LUISS lawn.
