The Luiss Career Service is pleased to announce the 25th edition of Career Day, “Youth and Employment.” The event will once again be held in person over two days, on October 21 and 22, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in the outdoor spaces of the Viale Romania campus.

For many, this is the first major group gathering after a forced hiatus, and there's a strong desire to reconnect and continue networking.

Throughout the day, students and graduates can meet with partner companies at dedicated desks to apply for jobs, request information, and get advice on how to embark on a successful career path. 

How to prepare?

• Research the companies attending by checking their websites and industry publications, and gather information about job openings, career paths, and the necessary requirements.
• Prepare your CV and cover letter. Interested students and graduates can contact Career Advisors for help with preparing their CVs and cover letters or to improve their performance. They can schedule an appointment through the Career Center portal in the appointments section.
• Prepare an elevator pitch.
• Plan your day by mapping out which companies are present and booking interviews at the desks in advance.

Who can participate?

Participation in the event is reserved for fourth- and fifth-year law students, first- and second-year master’s students from all departments, master’s program students, and graduates from the past two years. Only students who are duly enrolled in the current academic year will be able to attend the event and book appointments for Career Day.

How to register

To schedule meetings with recruiters in the networking area located outside on the Viale Romania Campus, students and graduates must use an online appointment booking system. To optimize visitor flow and ensure safety, participants can reserve up to 8 slots in total across both days: Thursday, October 21, and Friday, October 22.

Additionally, using the same online system, students and graduates can book 3 Turbo sessions—company presentations lasting about 40 minutes—held in indoor spaces that will be clearly marked on the event map. Finally, as part of the Alumni Meets initiative, they can book two appointments with Luiss alumni—now dynamic professionals—for a casual chat about their career paths.
