Skill-a-bus 2
The program is open to all students enrolled in the 2019–2020 academic year in the first year of a Master’s degree program in the Departments of Economics and Finance or Political Science, or in the third year of the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree program in Law.
The program is completely free, and attending it will earn you 4 university credits under the “Other Activities” category of your curriculum.
The program lasts a total of 60 hours. To have your University Credits recognized, you must attend 80% of the total hours, which amounts to 48 hours. This means you can miss a maximum of 12 hours.
The program will consist of 5 modules.
- Module I - Teamwork and Leadership
- Module II - Diversity Management
- Module III - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
- Module IV - Problem Solving
- Module V - Project and Process Management
All editions of the program will take place entirely in the second semester (February–May 2020).
The schedule will be available in October.
Module I - Teamwork and Leadership
Module duration: 12 hours, spread over 2 consecutive days
The module aims to develop teamwork skills and expose students to the dynamics that influence individual behavior in both organized and informal groups. This will enable them to better manage these dynamics, both as team members and as team leaders, by gaining awareness of the levers and attitudes needed to motivate and inspire others—a fundamental skill for excelling in any leadership role.
Module II - Diversity Management
Module duration: 12 hours, spread over 2 consecutive days
The module aims to introduce students to the dynamics of integrating diversity ideas and practices into managerial and learning processes within a company and its environment. Diversity Management is the active and conscious development of a forward-looking, value-oriented, strategic, and communicative management process that embraces differences and leverages them as an organizational asset.
Module III - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
Module duration: 12 hours, spread over 2 consecutive days
The module aims to analyze and practice communication skills and negotiation techniques that can guide different stakeholders—each with their own interests and goals—to find and create mutually beneficial solutions for all parties involved.
Module IV - Problem Solving
Module duration: 12 hours, spread over 2 consecutive days
The module aims to explore the techniques and tools needed for creative problem-solving in complex situations. This skill is valuable in every aspect of human activity, but it’s especially crucial for successful competition and collaboration, as it fosters an environment conducive to developing winning solutions.
V Module - Project and process management
Module duration: 12 hours, spread over 2 consecutive days
The module aims to help students become familiar with the logic and tools of organized action, understand their contribution within the broader context of the host environment, and develop a comprehensive view that is essential for managing positions of responsibility.
