Alumni Leadership Experience

The Alumni Leadership Experience aims to assess and foster the conscious development of strategic skills and leadership as a model and cross-cutting competency. This is achieved through direct, personalized engagement with the project's faculty, which includes professionals, faculty, and Luiss alumni with recognized HR experience in Italian and international companies, institutions, and consulting firms.

A day of training, networking, and exchange, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, dedicated to a limited and select group of high-potential young Luiss graduates. The program is part of a range of initiatives designed to encourage discussion and professional development among Luiss alumni and to promote continuing education activities specifically for them.

Experiential learning and mentoring: The Alumni Leadership Experience isn’t a traditional training session. Instead, it gives participants the chance to simulate organizational behaviors through role-play and individual and group activities commonly used in the world of business assessment. They can learn about and improve their leadership style, and receive expert support for an initial assessment of skills they’ve already acquired and those they still need to develop, as well as to grow their professional potential.

The program is held annually in two editions, one in spring and one in fall, exclusively in person at the Luiss campuses in Rome and Milan. While maintaining the same format, each edition is designed and customized based on the participant profiles received during the application process and analyzed by the Faculty. 

In the days following the event, participants can voluntarily receive individual online feedback from the Faculty. This is a valuable opportunity for discussion and a deeper understanding of what emerged during the day, aimed at building awareness of their strengths and weaknesses.
