Adoption Lab - Government, Government, Administration, and Policy
The Master’s Degree in Governance, Administration, and Politics offers a variety of options for earning course credits, including five Adoption Labs (Social Research; Public Institutions; Lobbying and Public Affairs; Think Tanks; and Political Communication). These labs are designed to explore in depth potential career paths related to the chosen specialization. The courses include a theoretical component and a practical component scheduled for the second semester of the first year of the master's program. To participate in the activities, you must select the code SJ1 - Other Activities when choosing your Study Plan (first semester of the first year of the master's program). You will then need to finalize your registration on the Luiss Learn platform by selecting the specific workshop you are interested in.

DEPARTMENT FOR YOUTH POLICIES
The Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service are responsible for managing and coordinating all work and training activities related to the deployment of volunteers who serve in public entities and organizations. Civil Service volunteers are young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who have not yet turned 30 (that is, 28 years and 364 days old) and who voluntarily choose to participate in projects both in Italy and abroad.
DEPARTMENT FOR COHESION POLICIES
The Department for Cohesion Policies is the unit within the Prime Minister's Office that supports the Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Its role is to coordinate and plan cohesion and territorial development policies.
COMMISSION FOR INTERCOUNTRY ADOPTIONS
The Commission for International Adoptions (CAI) is Italy's central authority for international adoptions, as stipulated by the Hague Convention of May 29, 1993 on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption. It is composed of the President, a Vice President, and representatives/commissioners from various institutions, chosen based on their experience and expertise in matters concerning minors. The Commissioners serve as liaisons with their respective administrations or organizations. Their term of office is three years and can be renewed only once. Three experts also take part in the Commission's activities.
