  • Further logistical details will be agreed upon with partners and communicated in June 2020.

  • Number of students involved: 6

The Binario 95 center, managed by the social cooperative Europe Consulting ONLUS, was established at Rome's Termini Station. It primarily serves homeless individuals in the area, offering inclusion projects for guests who are pushed to the margins of society due to various hardships.

Volunteers who choose to get involved with this organization will initially receive training from specialized staff. This training will cover the regulatory and management aspects of a social welfare facility, as well as how to approach the facility's guests, to ensure they understand how it operates. Once they have acquired the necessary knowledge, volunteers will be tasked with developing projects in the following areas:

  • Support and development of the toll-free number service to assist families and individuals in the post-COVID-19 emergency period

  • Support and development of the “suspended shopping” service to provide food to families in need

  • Developing a platform to gather information from various municipalities and associations to create a “shared” warehouse. This will organize materials—from food to clothing and more—across different hubs, enabling those in need to know where to find them.
