• Activity period: One week of training, with the schedule to be determined between June 22 and July 6. Two weeks of project activities, to be agreed upon with the partner and scheduled between July 6 and August 8, 2020.

This facility provides shelter for young mothers aged 15 to 25 and their children, offering them the protection and stability they lack due to the severe economic and social hardships they face.  

The activities to be carried out will address a real need within the association and, consequently, within the community it serves. The goal is to teach volunteers how to address the needs and challenges of others by identifying solutions that are inspired by and grounded in real, non-simulated contexts, ensuring the broadest possible involvement and contribution.  

More specifically, volunteers will be asked to take concrete actions to benefit and support the association: students will apply their skills and competencies in real-world contexts, internalizing important values such as justice, legality, equality, respect, and care for the environment.  

The service required of volunteers will focus on: 

• Remote tutoring for Italian and English conversation, plus basic math lessons.
