Luiss Gender Equality Plan
In collaboration with the Rector’s Advisor for Diversity & Inclusion and as part of its Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) function, Luiss has developed its Gender Equality Plan (GEP), a plan of concrete actions aimed at promoting gender equality. The Plan is part of the Diversity & Inclusion journey that the University had already embarked on. Its development was a participatory process that involved the community continuously through audits, focus groups, and surveys to gather needs, ideas, and suggestions on the thematic areas outlined by the European Commission. The Luiss Gender Equality Plan is part of the Positive Action Plan (PAP). With its 38 actions, it aims to remove obstacles to true gender equality and increase opportunities for inclusion. The project and programmatic actions outlined in the document not only confirm and provide continuity to inclusive policies already adopted by the academic community, but also open up new perspectives that can connect with other essential aspects of the organization’s life. The drafting and implementation of the Luiss Gender Equality Plan represent a significant milestone for our University, demonstrating and reinforcing Luiss’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and the appreciation of all forms of diversity.
