IT prerequisites for undergraduate programs
Students:
- enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Economics and Management starting from the 2016/17 academic year, who must take the Computer Science exam in the second semester of their first year
- of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Management and Computer Science, enrolled up to the 2019/20 academic year, who must take the Introduction to Computer Programming exam in the first semester of their first year
- of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Management and Computer Science, enrolled starting in the 2020/21 academic year, who must take the Databases & Big Data exam in the first semester of their second year
- of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Political Science, enrolled starting in the 2017/18 academic year, who must take the Computer Skills Lab exam in the first semester of their first year
- of the degree program in Politics: Philosophy and Economics, enrolled starting in the 2017/18 academic year, who must take the Lab of Computer Skills exam in the first semester of their first year
- of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Economics and Business, enrolled starting from the 2017/18 academic year, who must take the Information Systems exam in the first semester of the second year
- of the Bachelor of Laws program, enrolled in the 2018/19 academic year, who must take the Legal Informatics exam in the second semester of the first year
- of the Bachelor of Laws program, enrolled starting in the 2019/20 academic year, who must take the Intelligent Machines and Law exam in the second semester of their third year
must first take a “Digital Skills Assessment Test,” which must be passed before taking the exam.
You can take the test online during sessions organized by the Luiss Test Center, held every Friday starting the first week of September.
To book, you can use the Luiss Learn Test Friday - Prenotazioni/Reservations page, available in the “Test center” area, and follow the instructions provided.
Materials to prepare for the test are available at the link Digital Skills Assessment Test - Study Materials, also in the “Test Center” area of the Luiss Learn platform.
Please note that holding the European ECDL or ICDL certification, or other similar certifications (EIPASS, PEKIT, etc.), does NOT exempt you from taking the test.
All students enrolled for the 2023/2024 academic year will take an additional online test to assess their individual proficiency in specific computer skills.
