Rules of conduct

Students departing for a study period abroad are expected to behave appropriately and in a manner befitting an international academic experience. They must show the utmost respect for the people and equipment at the host universities and avoid causing any damage whatsoever. They are required to comply with current legislation and to act in accordance with the principles of honesty, fairness, and professionalism.

In addition to complying with the laws and regulations of the host universities, students must avoid using language or tones that could be considered offensive or inappropriate in both verbal and written communication.

Students on exchange programs serve as Luiss ambassadors abroad. Inappropriate and improper behavior can damage Luiss's reputation and reduce the availability and continuity of international cooperation.

Luiss students who are found responsible for reprehensible actions at host university campuses will be referred to Luiss's academic authorities for appropriate disciplinary measures.
